CORDURA® Advanced Fabrics has been protecting the sprint of adventure since 1967. A unique, global ingredient brand, CORDURA fabrics enhance protection and comfort and empower people to boldly take on the world. It is used by many top brands such as JanSport®, The North Face®, Patagonia®, Lululemon®, Carhartt® and Dickies® and is trusted by militaries around the globe.

As the agency of record for CORDURA for 5+ years, Sweeney developed and implemented globally integrated marketing campaigns to establish CORDURA as a thought leader, increase awareness and drive sales leads. Strategically, we used a unique mix of fabric innovations, industry trends, designer and brand collaborations, product applications and textile mill and brand customer testimonials, including Levis®, The North Face®, Patagonia® and Carhartt®, to help communicate the brand’s unique value proposition to its vast B2B and B2C audiences.

Earned Media

We built strong and meaningful relationships with CORDURA’s target trade media across the globe by sharing a strategic mix of high-quality content that really mattered to media. And we were always there when and where media needed us, sharing textile expertise, industry trends, products and more.

Coverage included Gear Patrol, Digital Trends, HiConsumption, OR Daily, Outside Business Journal, Misadventures Magazine, Textile Network, Carryology, Innovations in Textile, Fiber2Fashion and Denimology to name a few.

Trade Shows

From Outdoor Retailer to the Shot Show and many more, we helped CORDURA to bring its brand ethos to life through pre-, during- and post-show integrated marketing campaigns.

Strategies included media relations, product guides, e-mail marketing, sales presentations, booth events, trade show graphics, website updates, social media and more.

Social Media

We strategically curated and shared engaging content on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We showcased new products, industry trends, collaborations, brand customer testimonials — including video interviews with major brands like L.L. Bean, Dickies®, Topo Designs, Levis®, Patagonia® and global customers — and highlighted those who Live Durable.

Advertising

Paid media helped to further amplify the brand among key target audiences. We developed strategic media plans spanning multiple vertical markets and developed creative to help increase overall awareness, drive website traffic and generate quality leads.
