What’s Funnier Than A Bloody Sweatshirt And Four Dead Students?

not funnyOh yeah, that’s right… everything.

This won’t be much of a blog post, simply because I have so little desire to even talk about Urban Outfitters and their uber lazy approach to marketing.

Fortunately, the marketplace will show this faltering retailer why it’s a bad idea to hang your hat (or sweatshirt) on a hook with a very sharp end.

As for Howard Davidowitz, chairman of Davidowitz & Associates Inc., who offers this excuse for UO: “Most of the blame is attributable to how rapidly Urban Outfitters produces and curates new styles,” all I can say is wow. Apparently it is acceptable in some circles to be lazy and stupid and then blame it on how busy you are.

Kent State University and the four students who lost their lives 44 years ago deserve better.  And we should all expect more of ourselves.
