Sweeney’s Fitch Named AAF-Cleveland “Rookie of the Year”

CLEVELAND – May 26, 2010 – Kayleigh Fitch, an account executive at Cleveland-based Sweeney, a full-service marketing and public relations firm, has been named “Rookie of the Year” by the American Advertising Federation-Cleveland.

Fitch was recognized for her commitment and service to AAF-Cleveland primarily through her role on the communications committee, which provides marketing and communications support for the AAF-Cleveland brand, events and other committees within the organization.

Specifically, Fitch was responsible for developing and executing the communications plan for the annual AAF-Cleveland Auction, conducting local publicity and media relations, developing membership drive fliers and ads and developing branding and positioning statements for the organization.

“Kayleigh has certainly surpassed the industry standard of a rookie and is an incredibly motivated individual with a drive to achieve superior results,” said Jim Sweeney, president of Sweeney. “We are proud that a Sweeney team member has shown such dedication to AAF-Cleveland.”

Fitch joined Sweeney in May 2007 and graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a bachelor of arts in public relations and an entrepreneurship minor. She resides in Brook Park, Ohio.
