What You Bring

As a Senior Account Supervisor, you bring agency or corporate experience and a passion for driving results through strategy, leadership and collaboration.

You’re a confident, experienced communicator who leads senior-level client relationships, influences decision-making and drives high-impact campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes.

You bring a balance of strategic insight and hands-on execution — from research and strategic planning to storytelling, writing and results analysis. You’re comfortable setting direction, making informed calls and moving work forward with clarity and urgency.

You have a proven ability to lead and energize teams, manage multiple priorities and hold work — and people — accountable to results. You’re a strong communicator and collaborator who understands both the art and science of marketing and PR and how to align client goals with data, strategy and creative that impacts target audiences and drives results.

You take initiative to deeply understand each client’s business, anticipate challenges and proactively identify opportunities for growth. With a client-partner mindset, entrepreneurial spirit and high professional standards, you mentor junior staff, elevate performance and strengthen both accounts and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own the performance of assigned accounts, leading and motivating teams to deliver work that drives results, client confidence and long-term value.
  • Serve as a senior client advisor and primary point of contact, building trust-based relationships and confidently leading strategic, high-stakes conversations.
  • Develop and oversee strategic marketing and PR plans, budgets, timelines and performance metrics.
  • Manage integrated marketing campaigns and support implementation across PR, thought leadership, events, social media and more.
  • Provide strategic direction grounded in research, insights and a deep understanding of client industries.
  • Oversee account financials — including budgeting, forecasting and invoicing — to maintain profitability and efficiency.
  • Analyze campaign results and guide teams to optimize performance and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering accountability, confidence and professional growth.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities for organic account growth, deeper partnerships and expanded scope, collaborating with agency leadership as needed.
  • Represent the agency professionally with clients, media, vendors and industry partners.
  • Contribute to agency thought leadership efforts, including writing articles, developing case studies, and supporting speaking opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previously served as a Marketing/PR/Communications supervisor
  • Proven leadership in managing client accounts and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Ability to engage and ignite teams
  • Strong, proven background in integrated marketing and communications, including branding, PR, advertising, direct marketing, social media, etc.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, research and results-driven campaign development
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines and resources effectively
  • Proficient in modern PR and marketing tools, platforms and analytics
  • Experience in mentoring and developing staff members
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the confidence to influence, lead and drive momentum

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Experience managing high-performing teams; mentoring team members
  • Confident, persuasive presenter with executive presence
  • Candidate is ideally located in NC, Ohio or VA, but open to other locations; candidate needs to be willing to work EST hours
